RGB color order
« on: December 12, 2014, 08:02:28 PM »
In doing some reading it looks like to switch the color order in the utility you choose a different device type.  Is this correct?

Here are my nodes and selection in the software to get the correct RGB color sequence.

Nodes: WS2811 12v

Device Type : Strips 2 (1809)

Is this correct?  If this is the case; could the labels be suffixed or prefixed with the color order?

After Christmas I will change completely to RGB,RBG, ... with no types just orders. The software will most likely get merged into the Falcon Controller software to create one Falcon Software for Pixelnet stuff.

Thanks David.  Both sound like good ideas.

Jeff if you are using Xlights/Nutcracker you can change the RGB order in the models... I know not the question you were asking but figured shared just in case would help you till David and get it updated in the program.

+1 on that! Slowly repairing my stuff after taking it down and thought I'd reprogram a few of things to fix the color order so the Nutcracker whole house effect works properly but got completely frustrated using both the DLA & Falcon programmers. I gonna wait for the new utility :)

Hi David, I'm really enjoying all the new devices and software that you created this year - you've been *very* busy! Will you be able to include uSC/SCC support in the new Falcon Controller Software anytime soon? With Halloween just around the corner, I'm starting to dust off my old stuff and it would be great to be able to fix color order on a number of my devices.

Paul.

Fair enough. Any chance you could add the capability to change the color order (RGB, RBG, ...) to the current utility?

You can change the color order by changing the node type. If fact that is all that changes when you change node type.
