any going to be in stock pretty soon?

would not mind a fully built one, or at least shipping with the whole BOM in one whack with full active components.

That 2 universe function sounds like the bomb..

I have boards no processors. At this time of year I would go with Zwiller and get the parts from Mouser.  I supplied most boards with connectors, fuses and fuse holders. Maybe he has those parts too.

I'm good for this year fellows, have a whole spare hub running a porcupine in my office that didn't make it into the wild this year, but I have one nearly full and can see splitting it and that 2 universe capability is killer for where I need it to spread the load a bit!  Getting cramped in universe 1 and 2 is pretty much matrix and porcupine balls, so I am looking at moving into Pixelnet universe 3 next year to simplify my life a bit.

Cool. Was kinda hoping to hold onto it. I am swapping 2 Diyla hubs out post season so I can finally rid myself of the pesky green fuses.

Zwiller - I hear you there! I'm planning on getting rid of my 5 hubs this coming year. The only thing I'm using them for is the pixelnet to dmx as I didn't have a chance to finish my falcon  dmx hubs.

Since we all made it through this season with what we have, Dave, when do you plan to have more back in stock so I can buy some to replace my active hubs I have now?

I just want to give a thanks to dave and his 16 port hub.
I bought three last spring, never assembled them. Then my show started (late) and i needed all 3). Assembly was just over an hour. LED's showing blown fuses, replaceable fuses, dmx outputs. just a real nice hub.

i now have
3 falcon hubs, all active
2 active DLA hubs
1 passive DLA hub
2 falcon-16's,

i used all 8 hubs in my show.

thanks again dave for the nice falcon family

Sorry I missed the question. In first quarter we will be doing a presale for the hubs. If you want to source parts yourself I have the boards but no chips for DMX output. I am willing to get the chips and mount for you if you pay the shipping for the chips to get to me.

I will be in for 3 on the pre-sale Dave, are the chips just into sockets or are you talking smd chips?

They are 64 pin SMD chip. The hub can output three universes of DMX. Each port can be configured for DMX or Renard and the start address is configurable for each.

while I love the specs on the v2, I think the v1 has still have a good bit of life in it.  the 8pt and 16pt kits have a good price, and all the features many of us need.

so... I'm hoping that the store soon has:
  • FPD v1
  • F8v1
  • F16v1

F16 v1 and F8 v1 along with the afterburner will reduce the need for hubs and uSC's for a lot of people.  Lots of nice options.
