That is interesting.

The less expensive one even has a power injection connector included. It also looks like the pixels could be more consistently spaced as well.

I wish that product had been around 2 yrs back when I bough most of the strips for my grid.

it is even way less expensive that the other 5m strip he sells http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/5m-TM1809-dream-color-strip-30leds-m-in-silicon-tube-10pcs-TM1809-IC-each-meter/701799_693754057.html

Good you found that, it must be fairly new.

The 4M version is left around from the original DLA order and hasn't been updated to lower the price.  It is the flexible strip item linked to from the DLA wiki and the length was capped at 4M due to the 128 pixel max on the DLA SSC's due to the 4A current restriction on the DLA SSC and DLA hubs.

If you are doing power injection or using Falcon or other controllers then you may be able to use the longer 5M strips.

Chris,

Good to know.  I plan to wire two of the 5m end to end and power inject, either with the new LOR Pixcon or the Falcon16 V2 (still researching)
