Falcon16v2 0.1 vs v1.03
« on: August 14, 2015, 01:20:26 PM »
I have asked before and received information about the physical changes between the Beta Board and the board that is shipping.

I am wondering if you can tell me how much difference, if any, there is in the firmware?  I have just received two spanking new ones (yes - "Kid in the Candy Store Syndrome" has set in) but will be deploying all three.

Should I be watching for anything? Is there an update for the older unit to bring it in line with the newer ones?
Does it really matter?

Thanks

The beta boards need to have the new bootloader loaded with Pickit 3 or ICD 3 then firmware loaded with USB upgrade process. Then firmware wise it will be the same and will use same firmware going forward.

Thanks David.

Do you know if there is a wiki page on how to do this?  I have the Pickit 3.

I'll take you up on that next week, if you have time.
I'm packing for a gig tomorrow, then one on Sunday.  (When it rains, it pours.)
