Supported pixel list?
« on: September 14, 2015, 06:53:32 AM »
Sorry if this is posted somewhere and I either can't find it, am lost, or too early and the coffee and meds haven't kicked in yet!
Is there a listing of which pixel types are supported by the Falcon 16 controller?  I seem to remember seeing one at some point but can't find it!  Arrgghhhh!

I too sent Dave some pixels to test with the board and wanted to see what else he has set up to support.

I sent him some APA104 strip and some APA106 string pixels to see if they will work.

THIA to anyone who can steer me in the right direction.

Blinking lights on and off since 1972.

9,000+ channels on a single prop.

Ah-Ha!

Thanks Frank.

I looked here, and the Australian forum, and the DIY forum but didn't see it.  Thought that I was losing it (well more than normal anyway)!  I knew I had seen it someplace.

;) The Aussies never needed a list as we largely adopted 2801 then 2811 as the default protocols used with some 3001.  ;)

Hi Phil,

Well the guys "down under" need to experiment more - HA.

Just read that I should have said "and the Australian forum" instead of "not"!  My bad on not catching that.  Way too many things on this old brain lately and not watching what I type on this little iPad keyboard.
Trying new pixels can only help us all in the long run as the LED industry is always changing.  Another reason to experiment in this crazy hobby.
