These have been built. I just need to test and send them out. The default board will have DMX universes 1 through 5 mapped to output ports. If you want some other mapping for Christmas let me know. I will make a custom firmware for you and place it in the download section of the forum. If you get with me (in this thread or pm) soon I can pre-program it for you. if not the 1-5 firmware will be loaded.

All boards have been tested and packaged with shipping labels. They will go out in Tuesday's mail.

My universe being extracted ( currently from a Smart Hub) is universe number 3 so everything will be fine.

Just stumbled upon your amazing site and products. I have a bunch of RGB DMX dimming modules already. So i assume this would allow me to control those if i have your Falcon Pi Player running on a Raspberry Pi?  Also any plans to have the Falcon Pi Player be Artnet compatible? Possibly using OLA?

I would be really interested in getting one if they are still available.

Got my package today.  May not get to test until middle of next week when I have all the elements set in the yard or at least enough to play with.  Too much stuff laying all over right now.

I've got mine also.  One question, there was a small heat sink I believe taped to the outside.  What does that go to?

I should get some testing done here in the next few days and then a real test in my dads show for some optional stuff.

There is a voltage regulator flat against the circuit board right next to the 5vdc power input.

I haven't found it to be required, but if you think it (the regulator) is getting too hot, you slide it between the regulator and the board until the two holes match. Do this with the power off!  Then secure it with either a small machine screw and nut or even a very tight Tie Wrap. You don't want it to come loose and touch anything electrical.

David do you have any more of these ?
do you think this may resolve the issue I have running DMX out from the FPD?
Does this board also output at 20hz? or does it have faster cycle?

You would be in the same boat, it is 20hz. But last night I was able to work on FPD code and my first attempt is almost done. I need to test it first. Then give it over to you to test.
