Slight buzz from pi
« on: August 29, 2016, 06:58:19 PM »
When I connect my f4v2 to my network I'm getting a buzz sound out of the pi as soon as I plug in the network cable.  I have noticed the pi is extremely sensitive to any electrical noise.  Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this if so how do you fix it?  It's not a huge deal but I have been moving wires around in my garage to cut the audio interference out almost no noise out of the pi now until I plug the falcon in.

EDIT;; I spoke with David at the web meeting and it no longer does it!!! ::) ???

Mine does it, haven't started troubleshooting it yet. My USB power supply came with the Vilros kit, but I do not know if it is "high quality", it does not have a ferrite bead. When I'm in my car the FM from my transmitter (EDS) sounds surprisingly good for not being processed, but in between the song there is massive buzz/humm.

What did you do?
