There is a pic above of my expansion board, but my wiring of cables may not be per standard but they are consistent with all my other cables, so I probably started wrong but have to stay with out now.

I'm not at home to look but I think my ribbon cable is installed opposite of yours.....in other words the red wire on the ribbon cable is on the left side of the board with the OLED display.  I can't confirm like I said so I may be mistaken....but something to consider.

My ribbon cable was plugged backwards on the F16.  Turned it around and now test lights works!  Making progress.  Now if I can properly universe/channel address these things.  Talk about feeling stupid.  Thanks so much for pointing that out.

I was just going to say look at your ribbon cable to make sure pin 1 is pin 1 on both.  Didn't have my board in front of me to verify with your picture.  Glad you got it going.

Why do you have Universe 50 assigned to multiple SPI outputs on 1-16?  Try changing Outputs 18 to Universe 63, Output 19 to Universe 64, and Ouput 20 to Universe 65.  Hit Save.   The fact that all the ports on your expansion board were set to start on Universe 60, channel 1, may be causing an issue. 


I'll also add that all the issues I had with my expansion boards were due to ethernet cables getting pinched.

If you are running version 1.11 you can connect the receiver direclty into Pixelnet port and on the serial port webpage select "Pixel Sring XX" for all outputs and save. Then run test. This will eliminate expansion board.

Could you please explain this a little better.


Lets say I have 4 port, 17, 18, 19, 20 that I want to use with GECE.
They are all 68 pixels per port, starting on 697.


How would I configure that to work on a Receiver connected to Serial Port 3?
