« on: January 21, 2017, 06:54:21 PM »
runnig power into the fpp, I get lights on fpp and cap, but fpp won't boot up. The the mini SIM card slot is so hot that I can't touch it. Fpp now won't boot by itself. What's going on?

what voltage are your supplying to the PiHat?  And is the voltage jumper set correctly (that's powering the PI)?

I am powering the FPP with 5 volts and no power connected to the cap. I pulled the sim card out and put it into my laptop to check it, and it gets super hot in there so I am guessing the sim is shot. Something new. I was getting lights on both. Just no boot up.
