Here's a video of how we (PK and I) made our matrices with P10 Panels and BBB.

Yea patdelaney I was wondering that too.  There are so many XLights fonts and I've been having trouble with picking ones that look good.  Those fonts used here are good.  For that matter if love to get a copy of the whole sequence.  Nice work with the twinkle in the text and the color bars in the text too.

Thanks for bringing this yesterday! It was nice to see it in person.. It was just like i had envisioned to make for this year, and ran out of time. So I just hung, what you saw yesterday, on my door outside.

Thank you!  I always felt a little guilty that I spent so little time doing the matrix.  Once I figured out Nutcracker (shouldn't have upgraded to V4 so close to lighting season) I used it as a template for Halloween, Christmas, pre-show, and Broncos Lights.

I can send you the xml file if you'd like.

I'd love the sequence too, if nothing more than to learn from.

The Halloween sequence (and the template for the rest of my Tune To incarnations) and XML files are in the archive.  Fonts mentioned above.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for sharing the sequence - great to learn from.

Question - how to you keep the scrolling text from going "into" the marquee border?  I have created 2 layers (text and marquee) but my text actually scrolls through the marquee which I do not like - your look is much cleaner.  Thanks in advance.

Update, 1st I am very new to xLights. If I place the marquee on the 1st layer and text on the second it is exactly what I want. Reversing that order lets the text overwrite the marquee. Guessing I could adjust the output  with the layers panel but need to learn how to use it!

Plan on building out one of Ron's new boards and using Pi to run some P10 panels.

On your Bronco Lights, what is the pixel size for the graphic?

I shrank the graphic down to be 32 pixels high by however long it is using Paint.
