Setting up PI cap
« on: May 14, 2018, 11:04:38 AM »
good day all,

Just got all the parts (except the battery for the cap) and a tape of LEDs for testing.  Is theres a step by step list for setting up from scratch?  I have looked at many of the videos but they assume certain steps such as that the PI is loaded and ready and other ones.  All the parts I have are new and unchanged.  I would assume that the PI needs an operating system, guess it needs some for of Falcon software to control the cap and since I am going to be using an LOR show controller (already have it and would rather not throw out $300 ) to run every thing some for of interface.  Hoping for a check list.  Not detailed as and now press Stuart as I can look that up and not waste peoples time.  Just something like:

Down load PI OS on to micro sd chip
Start up PI using chip
Setup WiFi
Setup remote access
Load Falcon player (if needed when using LOR to control)

Something that generic

Thanks in advance,

Jim
