BeagleBones in Space....
« on: November 30, 2018, 05:46:31 AM »

Not FPP related at all, but interesting.

Last nights launch of a rocket from India includes a small CubeSat called "Centauri 1".   What's interesting is that the flight computer on it is a BeagleBone Black.    Some links:

I'm obviously designing the wrong kind of capes for the BeagleBones.   If I could sell one cape for $11,000, I'd be quite happy.  :)

Your PocketBeagle board (F8-PB+) board is probably worth $30,000 on their scale.
Do you think they used the industrial version of the BBB?
And for $11k, don't you think they could provide a BBB?
