Power Injection Backfeed?
« on: December 06, 2018, 09:59:02 AM »
My PiCap is running about 500 pixels for my show this year.  I have power injection in three different spots, two injections on port 2 and one on port 1.  I went to reboot the Pi and discovered that the Pi stays powered up due to the injection coming in on the output ports.  Is this normal?  Is there something I should do to prevent the back flow of voltage?

Normal if you don't cut the V+  between power injection points.   Its not necessarily a problem, depending on how you are supplying your power injection.

You could consider it a feature/benefit in some situations as it allows Pi to be located in a more remote location than the power supply  ;)
