NOOB looking for a Picap manual.
« on: January 14, 2019, 08:56:40 AM »
Hi PapaLites here,
I'm going to buy a Picap to run on Pi2. I can't seem to find the manual for this hardware. I want to run my old Xmus/Renard16 controllers while venturing into rgb pixels.
Specifically, I want to know if the picap will supply the 12vdc required to power the xmus boards out the rj45 serial port. I don't want any smoke on this project.

Not sure if there is a manual for it or not but I'm 99.9% sure that there is no power supplied down the RJ45 port.

I didn't find a manual either so I put together a video of my notes to get the PiCap up and running. https://youtu.be/AhQGcxrmdHs
