Two new issues with F16V3
« on: January 21, 2019, 09:47:46 AM »
First issue is the voltage reading on V1. For some reason it shows a voltage of 6.4 instead of 12. V2 is fine. Checked V1 and PSU with multimeter and voltages are ~11.98 for V1. All jumpers are in the 7-13 volt range and set for V2 to power the board.

Second issue is that when I try to change the fan control settings on the F16V3. No matter what sensor or temperature I choose the GUI locks up when I hit save. I then refresh the screen and the settings are back to default.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
My name is Steve and I'm just getting started. but I think this will become a huge hobby!!

The voltage issue is a known bug and has been reported and should be fixed before too long. I am surprised it hasn't been fixed yet as it was reported in October and a few commits have been submitted since then. I am out of town, but when I get back, I will try the Fan control issue to see if I can duplicate it.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

Ok Dave. I can update the version later. Already did the boo loader and firmware update. Thought that would update it completely. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Just updated thanks. At least now the onboard clock can be set and saved.

I am on b022 and I can confirm that the voltage issue is still present on V1

Has anyone else experienced the fan control not working on FPP? Wont accept any changes no matter what.
