Maximum Ribbon Distance

Is there a conceivable maximum distance/length for the ribbon cable from an Octoscroller to P5 panels?  I can't seem to find any sort of information on this.

It's not "long".   Probably around 24-30 inches. 


The version of the Octo that fully buffers everything  (Ron's version) would allow a longer ribbon, but no idea how long.

I am using a 50" cable on my original octoscroller, but your mileage may vary.  These panels are older and newer ones may be more sensitive.

I have used 36 inch cables while doing testing without issue.

Did you make the cables or purchase them from somewhere?  And if so, where did you purchase them?
