Comparing the Mean Well SE-600-12 to the RSP-500-12.  Which is the better buy?  and also what is the main difference as far as powering a mega tree? What does SE and RSP mean?

The SE is the cheap series of Meanwell supplies. The main difference in series is that the RSP has power factor correction. What this means in simple terms is that it draws a lower current from the mains for a given output power.

Thank you  that helped.  Also looked at the data sheet on each.  Very similar but, there were things I liked better on the RSP-500.  It cost a little more but, I guess you get what you pay for.  Also found out the RSP-500 is what LOR used on the Pixcon16 I bought last year.  So, must be a reason they picked it...... Rebuilding the Pixcon16 to use in a 4th of July display for local Fire Department.
