Does SSCv1,2,3mod firmware 1.0.10 actually exist somewhere?
« on: August 27, 2014, 10:00:16 AM »
It's probably my search technique but I have been unable to find the latest firmware version for the DLA SSCs with the version 3 modification. I have loaded a number of my SSCvMod controllers with version 1.0.9 firmware and can only program them with the Smart String Grouping v 1.0.9 software as the v 1.0.11 doesn't seem to work as stated in the software itself (I had to try anyway - didn't I  :) )

I would have posted this as an extension of
http://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php/topic,36.msg124.html#msg124
but the topic appears to be closed.

The firmware version 1.0.9 is listed as the latest in the wiki and the link I found
http://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=27
states no download exists. Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ron

1.0.9 is the latest for v1,2,3 and you must use 1.0.9 software. I new firmware is coming out that will be supported by 1.0.11.

Just to let you know, it seems there's a small bug in the Smart String Grouping v 1.0.9 software. If you change the direction (forward/backward) of a single SSC the direction changes for all SSCs on the controllers list. As long as this is known you can get around it by selecting the direction for a controller then only plugging that controllwer into the hub for programming.  This does not seem to occur in either the v1.0.11 or the Falcon Controller software v1.2.0 so I'm sure the problem will take care of itself once the new SSCv1,2,3mod firmware is released.

The error was in the software and has been corrected in new version. I am almost ready to release the software and v1,2,3 firmware. In new firmware 30 custom groups are possible instead of 20.
