Odd Sized Matrix
« on: October 28, 2014, 08:08:48 AM »
For the last 2 years I have been trying to make my roof a matrix. Last year was a nightmare with the Technicolor nodes so I had to take it down and go back to regular leds. This year I have my replacement nodes going up and so far so good. When I am done I will have 65 strings of different lengths in most of the strings to adjust for my roof. My question is.... How will I set this up as a matrix as it is not a square or rectangle? My Main roof is my "Target" matrix and has 33 Strings of different lengths. My goal is to have something running for Halloween, but I am not sure that I can pull that off.

What I should probably add is I want to make pumpkin singing by Friday.....Could use help with that as well!!!! LOL  ;)

Make a custom model for it. all matrix objects, singing faces should all work.

the other choice is a vertical matrix , make vertical the longest string length. This method requires having the string start address set correctly in the controllers. multiples of the longest length
