12 Pixel candy cane shape custom model
« on: September 14, 2013, 09:40:38 AM »
I'm in version 3.2.1  (don't know if this was in prior versions - yet)

Created a 4 x 10 custom matrix, drew out the pixels as shown for a simple candy cane. Looks good in preview, but when I go to channel 2400 in the Test list, pixels 1, 2 and 3 are not in the correct order. See the other picture.

The node shown as n1s1 should be 2400 (not 2404)

Here is the "xlights_rgbeffrects.xml" for that candy cane:

<model name="CandyCane" offsetXpct="0.1238" offsetYpct="0.2339" PreviewScale="0.1200" PreviewRotation="0" DisplayAs="Custom" StringType="RGB Nodes" parm1="4" parm2="10" parm3="1" StartChannel="2400" StartSide="B" Dir="L" Antialias="0" CustomModel=",2,3,;1,,,4;,,,5;,,,6;,,,7;,,,8;,,,9;,,,10;,,,11;,,,12" MyDisplay="1"/>

If I adjust the custom model as shown in the picture, I do get a correctly numbered Candy Cane in the channel test list.

On another machine that was only updated to 3.1.4, I got a similar configuration.
The odd thing is that is did NOT assign a DMX value to Pixel #1.  Just skipped it.

See the attached pic.
