SSC Test function
« on: November 09, 2013, 02:38:48 PM »
I know there has been some talk about a test function for the SSCs using the Falcon software. I understand that the SSCV1-3 jumper cannot be used for that purpose. I also understand that after the first address is assigned, an SSC can be anywhere on the network and its address can be changed remotely.
So, would it be possible to have a specific address, that when it is assigned to an SSC, would put it in test mode. For example, if that special address was 4096 then if I assigned an SSC a 4096 start address it would run the test program. Any other address assignment would cause it to run normally. Just a thought.
