When my show is not playing I use a smart plug to turn off power to all of the power supplies as well as power down my FPP pi (B+) and my F16V3.

When the plug turns back on the default state of FPP is "FPPD is stopped." until I press the "Restart FPPD" button on the webUI.

Once I press that button everything works perfectly, but it really messes with the automation of the shows if I have to press that button every time the power comes back on.  Anyone experience this before?  Is there an API command that I could send to restart FPPD automatically? MQTT maybe?

Thanks.

Are you shutting down your PIs before killing power?

I had not been, but I just tested.

1. FPPD running.
2. Hit shutdown.
3. Wait
4. Turn off power
5. Turn on power
6. FPPD stopped.  :(
