Are you using the iPad?  It may be a Safari problem.

Just so that this might help someone else, I ended up talking to David (thanks again David).  The problem was some Java issue and Internet Explorer.  Once I used Firefox, everything was perfect.

No I didn't as I must have missed the posts as I only read the one about Safari.  had I done that I would have saved david some time and me an international phone call.
