EXPO in Chicago - just heard this
« on: May 28, 2016, 06:38:26 PM »
Chicago has opened up their new 200 ft tall Ferris Wheel out on the Navy Pier. That is near the big Museum of Science and Industry.

Air conditioned gondolas!  200 ft above the lake and city.  Does that interest anyone?

supposed to have opened yesterday.

Could make an interesting caravan one evening after dinner.  I would probably be up for it.  Any idea how far this is from the expo site and hotels?

15 miles due East on Highway 64 (North Avenue) to the lake, then south about a mile along the shoreline.
