When in Doubt - Program twice
« on: November 29, 2013, 09:59:54 AM »
About half of the V3 SSCs I was programming were not acting right.

For whatever reason, they were not accepting the Program I was sending.

But I noticed (when I had a Smart String attached) that the "problem SSCs" were not "turning on the lights" with the color pattern after programming.

So I Programmed them again. and they took it.
One SSC, I had to program a third time.

Once connected to xLights (after verifying all of them), they are all working as planned!!

So, in case this isn't anywhere else -
Be sure to have some kind of lights attached when you use the SS Programming utility. If they don't make pretty colors after programming, they may not make pretty colors on your house. Hit em again!

ps - and I did verify that with ALL of them connected to the same hub (in Pixnet Universe 1), I could re-program each one since I knew their start channel number.
