Using DMX Port with Differential Expansion Board
« on: September 18, 2016, 08:08:21 PM »
Is it possible to drive a 5th differential receiver off of a F16v2 using the DMX port if you are already driving 4 receivers off of an expansion board?

No not at this time. But in the future. Maybe not this year.

Thanks.  I will stay posted.  I saw earlier were the f4s were going to be able to drive differential receivers. Has this made it to beta yet?   What are the specifics?

I have a board and will be testing when I receive parts from Mouser. It will drive two receivers (2x4 strings) + the 4 local strings it already has. That is 12 total.

Cool.  Keep us posted.  Having distributed controllers is very helpful. I am finding that having the intelligence / features of the Falcon controller paired with the cost savings of the receivers is the best combo you can have controller wise.
