The pixelcontroller.com store only ships to US. To get it to the Netherlands you'd have to use a transhipping firm like www.shipito.com

I did send a PM to CaptainMurdoch, but can not find it in my history..so don't know if pm went ok.

I would like to know if it is possible to get 1 picap shipped to The Netherlands- Europe?
And if so...what will the delivery time be??

If I take a look in the original store, it says shipping in 3-4 weeks.
I really would like to use one because I am driving 2 strings of pixels directly from the Pi gpio's
And the Picap has fuses and normal wire connections.

No use in using big awg cables if I have to connect data and ground on 2 small jumpwires not? hahaha.

Shhh Dave ;)
I PM'd him to stop from hijacking the thread. It's getting a bit late in the year to be shipping stuff overseas. Only 20 days until light up.

Maybe Alan will ship you his version to Netherlands. :)

20 days?  :)   A lot of people over here in the U.S. want them on right after our Thanksgiving holiday which comes early this year so a lot of us are looking at turning on 2 weeks from today.

Is there still left over stock in this shipment you are getting if one would place a new order today?

I had ordered one last week or the week before.  When would I have an idea if I am included in this batch of piCap's or will be waiting for another batch?

Onboard Audio, no.  Driving pixels from the GPIO must disable onboard audio. You could probably use a USB audio.

You will need a USB audio device like this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IRVQ0F8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to run audio off the pi at the same time. This is what I used for Halloween with my other pi hat and it worked great. Now just to patiently wait for my falcon hat to arrive so i can do my display at my office (my coworkers will not know what to do with me).

Looking forward to try this when it arrives.

Can you use the outputs on the pi at the same time as the pihat?

I will say this about the HDMI output, for some reason FPP picked up the little monitor I had plugged in on the HDMI and sent the output there instead  of the lights the first time I used a hat (could have just been a goof by me) As soon as I unplugged the monitor, everything was fine.

Nice David,

Pretty hefty compared to the others I have, I love the sideways euro connectors vs the tall standard ones. I almost want to unsolder the standards on this other card and find the 90 degree ones you used. Obviously the PiCap has a bunch more tech than the PiHat, DMX, Renard, LOR! wireless is similar, you have 3 fuses,vs the single on the Pihat.

Oh that's what that is for, I kept wondering why there was an RJ45 on it, but that's probably for DMX or other output, was thinking that was odd since the Pi already has an ethernet port :)

Where is the documents for this, want to check what the various configs, on, power, jumpers etc.. BTW like that it comes with the screws stands offs, nice addition.

Thanks, they look great!

Running display on pi's with picaps.....no controllers
Some said it could not be done!  4245 pixels and growing!

I don't need a full manual I just want to know about the power jumpers.  I fried a pi a few weeks ago by not paying to the jumpers on the other pixel pi hat.
