First six pixels not lighting
« on: December 02, 2016, 05:58:59 PM »
seeing something very odd with the F16v2...

In every string, the first 6 pixels won't light.  Megatree with 16 strings (zigzagged) and a 90-pixel star.  The 16 strings are mapped to 8 outputs and each of the 8 outputs and star won't light the first 6 pixels....

attached are my string settings...  ideas?

It must be a mapping issue, but where?  Both Xlights and the Falcon show that my first channel should be 9729.  Star is supposed to start on output 7 which is 22017, but pixel 1 in xlights lights when I hit channel 22001-3 (RGB)

This is something screwy with xLights...  I tested with an AlphaPix4 that is part of my setup and got the same thing.  It must be an offset issue with xLights.  starting at channel 1 is fine.  The setup I showed before (start at 9729) doesn't work.

I ended up sorting it out...  Ended up being the way I had xLights set up.  I had E131 universes then a set of LOR channels then another set of universes.  The LOR channels messed up the offsets for the remaining E131 channels below it.  Fixed it by making sure that the LOR channels were at the bottom of the list - the last group of channels.
