2811 RGB flood using 2811DC board
« on: July 18, 2017, 04:59:02 AM »
A few years ago I made up 2811DC15 and 2811DC30 boards for controlling dumb elements in pixel networks. This can be fairy lights or RGB floods or other similar dumb elements. It can also be used to control motors, relays or solenoids providing the outputs aren't overloaded and are protected from back EMF from the coils. The 2811DC15 appears in a pixel network as 5 pixels. How they are configured and as what in Xlights etc is up to the user. Both the 2811DC15 and 2811DC30 are protected by maximum of 30A fuses giving an average output current of 2A and 1A respectively.
The pixel and DC sections of the boards are electrically isolated so 12V or 24V dumb RGB floods can be controlled from 5V pixel networks. All the info is in the user manual on my site. http://www.hansonelectronics.com.au/product/2811dc15/
