E1.31/Artnet to .fseq
« on: July 26, 2017, 12:50:47 PM »
Is it possible to convert E1.31/Artnet form Resolume/Madrix/MadMapper, etc. to .fseq? XLights and Vixen lack some functionality that these software have, so it would be best to stay with these and just convert output to .fseq so it would be possible to use with FPP for offline use. Such converter would enable to use FPP with nearly every software designed for light control.

I have asked this multiple times over the last couple years, I was pointed towards this...,770.msg6365/topicseen.html#msg6365

it can be downloaded here

my understanding is that it uses java to capture a data stream and convert it to xseq that can then be converted to fseq. I have still not had any time to play with it, let me know what you find

You can use the xcapture tool to accomplish this task.
