Dual Power Supply 5v/12v
« on: October 03, 2017, 09:43:59 PM »
Newbie here. I just ordered the ready-to-run F16V3 (https://www.pixelcontroller.com/store/index.php?id_product=50&controller=product) and I would like to use both 5v and 12v, which I understand is supported by the F16V3. However, the product image makes it look like the box isn't big enough for two supplies.

Can someone recommend a dual power supply that might work?

It's entirely possible that you could fit another 350W supply to the lid of the enclosure. Having 2 enclosures in there I'd make sure that you have it ventilated. I'd vent it myself with only 1 supply as I like/expect things to run cool. It does get hellishly hot here in Australia at Xmas time though.

As a totally unrelated question, why dont you move Christmas to mid-Winter (June 25)? The current December date is arbitrary, anyway.
