last july 2017 i ran (7) Falcon F16 v3's as FPP slaves. The boards were all connected via wifi. I ran the show at 20fps.

worked great, eliminated 7 raspberry pis running as slaves. still needed 1 raspberry pi as the master

audio is a new feature  I have not tried out yet

I assume this was with a beta version of some firmware from David?

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm crazy excited to learn of the firmware development!  I bought the F16V3 last year because of the promise of the SD card sequencing and audio.  I guess I always expected to put the SD card in a computer to upload the fseq then move the card to the falcon...and although the wifi upload feature would be awesome I'd rather see a beta release now that didn't include wifi instead of waiting.  Hope I don't get flamed for stating that.  As for the audio, I want to hook up an FM transmitter directly to the falcon.

I'm sure I'm like many of you when I ask...is it Christmas season yet??

Keep up the good work on the firmware, and I'll keep (obsessively) checking in on the progress!

I'm happy to beta test for you!  Choose me, please!

David,

I'd like to order two of the audio boards, please.  What's the best way to do this?

Thanks!

Gregg

Checking in, seeing if the F16V3 (F4V3 as well) will have wifi support and slave mode capabilities this season.  Decisions to be made on purchase of Raspberry Pis for now.

So I received your audio board months ago. Maybe I misplaced the instructions... Can you shoot us a link to download the beta?

Finally getting time to work on this years display and want to help you get your audio tested.
I have sent out some boards last week and we will start testing soon.

What's the probability this will be available for the Christmas season this year?

Checking to see if there has been progress to release an update, or if I may test and use a beta version that allows WIFI support.  I am building a large RGB mega tree and want to eliminate the need for a Gigabit switch.  This would also reduce the cord need for when I add more RGB effects to the same master FPP.

F16V3_Player_2_5_b018.fl2  (beta 18) has been working well for me as a Wireless Remote

I have tried every beta since 12. Beta 18 was the first to work cleanly on everything I tested.  For Remote or Standalone, the FSEQ files go in the root of a FAT32 formatted uSD card, not in any folders.

ps, I don't have the audio module so have never tested that.

Be sure to do the bootloader upgrade first.

also ps - not sure about going BACK to the older firmware. If you try this, consider it a one way trip for now.

I had also been testing this. My usd card carrier failed just as the last update came out. I will get it back tomorrow. But be aware they are only supporting up to FPP ver 1.10 at this time. It was running good for me.
