Replacement plugs...David please help
« on: February 05, 2018, 06:08:54 PM »
I can find the info for the replacement F16v3 plugs, I've been through here a couple times to see if I can find them for the Differential Receiver and I can't. I don't know if I'm missing it or what. I know they are smaller than the F16v3. Could you PLEASE give me the info to get a replacement plug. I lost one of mine. Also if I could get the replacement plug info for the F8 distro would be great also since I wouldn't mind having some spares.

I thought they were smaller. If that's the case I know what I need then.

Thanks

All of Davids plugs are the same except for the distribution boards and picap.  He did that to make life easier for everyone.

The green 4 pin connectors.  You can buy them here.

That's the one I had for the F16v3. I'm going to check tonight when I get home to make sure they are the same on the receiver board. Are these the F8 distro board? 2pin/way Pitch 3.5mm Screw Terminal Block Connector Green Pluggable Type

I finally had a chance to check...The differential receiver board plugs ARE smaller than the F16v3 plugs.

That has to be a mistake. I have 4 F16 and a bunch of receivers and have never separated the plugs. When you buy them they come in a ziplock and I have just dumped them all together and they worked fine.

I have the white board receivers, not the red. Does that make a difference on the size of the plugs?

I believe that David has used the same connectors on the F16v2 (blue & red), F16v3, and both red and white differential receiver boards.  I checked last night and the connectors from my F16v2 blue fit into the white differential receiver board socket correctly.

Thanks all for the input. I have to admit...It was a user error. I had the extra F16V3 plugs in a drawer, not realizing I had an extra plug for my test board, which is a Holiday Coro Hinks Pix16, mixed in and not realizing Holiday Coro uses a differnt size plug. The Holiday Coro uses a slightly larger plug than the Falcons. I case anyone cares it looks like Falcon uses 3.5mm plugs and Holiday Coro uses 3.81mm plugs.
