FPP Display Testing
« on: February 17, 2018, 05:15:13 PM »
Finally have everything setup & would like to do a test to see if all is working. Do I need to make a short animation sequence & upload it so I can test?

There's the ability to run a test mode under FPP. You can turn on individual channels, individual outputs, cycle RGB and a number of other test options. The test is under the Status tab from memory.

Always use the display testing as the first thing.  The next thing for me is to create 3 sequences.  Each one is to just turn every node to the same color, so one for red, one for green and one for blue.  It is also a great way to test that you have your colors defined correctly in the hardware.
