Colorado Light Enthusiast Meet Up in Denver on March 24
« on: March 18, 2018, 08:58:46 PM »
This month we will be meeting on Saturday, March 24 from 0900 to 1700 at the South Metro Fire Rescue Administration Building located at 9195 East Mineral Avenue; Centennial, CO 80112.

Tim Thompson will be facilitating as I will be out of town. We've had request to review setting up video projectors with a RPi as well as power requirements and setup issues.

What might one expect at this event, in terms of panels/activities/lectures/whatever? I am considering going to the Tennessee Mini that same day, but Colorado/Denver area is a bit of an easier drive from Kansas City.

This is our monthly gathering and attendance fluctuates depending upon peoples schedules. Sometimes we have an agenda and sometimes we do not. This month we had some ask about help with setup and power requirements as well as using video projection in their displays. We would love to have you one of these months. We meet on the fourth Saturday every month except in November and December.

Planning to go (weather dependent ofcourse), but may have to leave early since there's another thing I want to go to in the afternoon.

What could possibly be more important than Christmas lights in March?

Can't make it to either Mini after all, this month. Not enough time to get out there and be ready for the day - best I think we could manage is maybe 2-3 hours sleep, not counting time to check in a motel and all those other little things, before the event starts. Next month, maybe! :)

Aye, I wanted to come out to see how hobbyists are doing it themselves, see if there is any scrap of knowledge I can glean, and maybe help someone else out too, with my own knowledge and way of doing things. Hope it went well, guys :)
