Pinout for Minleon pixels waterproof connector
« on: July 24, 2018, 05:42:38 AM »
At Expo, I picked up some "4inch RGB Orbs" at the Reinders booth. They are Minleon products and came with a nice "Smart T" needed to string many of them along

BUT - two things are not apparent and not marked. Now, I could spend about $50 on a Minleon supplies page for a Power Injection setup.

when all I really need to know is:

1.  Which connector is "input"  (I found one reference that implied that the "female" end was output)
2.  On the "input"  which pins are +12vdc, Data and Ground

The chipset is TLS3001 (not a problem) but they have deliberately left everything unmarked.

Duh - just needed a much brighter flashlight  8)

Inside the 3-wire connectors (male or female), molded into the plastic, it shows the pin layout.

thanks to Paul at Reinders (an Expo vendor!) for illuminating my path.
