Please see the attached sketch. Should I power the pi from the distro

To post Pix - go below text box and use "attachments and other options"

Power PiCap and Pi from Distribo should be fine, provided PiCap settings match Power Supply voltgage.
Pi cap has a 7-24V setting and a 5V setting - I don't know what is default, but if you are using a 12V power supply, then you must set PiCap to 7-24V, or PiCap and Pi could see damaging voltage.
