Control software problems

Tried to use the Falcon control software this afternoon and received the following error:

No luck.  I thought Norton might be blocking my access and uninstalled it, but still have the problem. FCP has worked fine in the past...I don't know what has changed.

Just before I posted that url - I downloaded and installed it myself - so I know it works.

What else might have changed in your system?

I have tried on two other computers and have the same problem.  I have attached the error log from latest attempt.
Could Comcast cause a problem like this?

I did a complete scan of the computer...no problems.
Tried FCS again and after some hesitation it WORKS!!
Also on a second machine. 
The network gremlins are at work >:(

It seems it does try to go out over the internet to get that file. Were the computers in question on the net?
