Falcon pi cap/ Lor/ DISPLAY quick question??
« on: September 09, 2018, 08:59:42 PM »
This will be the first year that I'm using Falcon Pi cap Master to run the show. My question is about the lor controllers, I don't want to leave them run for a few months straight. My question is after the master Pi recognizes the controllers and after the show finishes at night can I shut the power off to just the Lor controllers when the show is not running. And then schedule them like 10 minutes before the Falcon Pi player takes over to run the controllers. So that the Lor controllers are not on for 24 hours a day for a few months on end. The Falcon Pi cap I'm not worried about since the Raspberry Pi is meant to run in that condition. Advice in this matter would be very helpful.

Will the Falcon Pi player still recognize the controllers, since they would be shut off for a period of time?

Yes you can power them down. I did this 2 years ago without problems.
