I'm just setting up my Differential Expansion board and am unable to get it to power any pixels. I've probably missed something in the setup but I'm at my wits end and am out of ideas of things to check.

I've made a short (3 min) video to show you my setup and explain what I'm seeing.

Any troubleshooting tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

First some terminology:  We are talking about the Differential Expansion and Differential Receiver boards.   The "Distro" board is different and its used to distribute power only (no data)

Looks to me like you need to move the Board Selector jumper on your Differential Expansion board.  In the video it looks like you have it set to ports "33-48" but you want it on "17-32"

With only the one expansion board, I believe the jumper should be on 17-32 as PixelPuppy states.

If that fails, then:

Check the ribbon cable to make sure it is correctly oriented on both ends.
Check your SPI cables to make sure they are in the correct wire slots.

Slightly off-topic, but I was under the impression the expansion board (see the picture in PixelPuppy's post above) got its power from the F16v2 via the ribbon cable.  Do I need to hook up a 5V power to the Expansion Board?  If not, why is there a 5V power input on the board?  I looked at the info on pixelcontroller.com and I'm not seeing an answer there.

Thanks!

L1011,

I remember seeing in the documentation that one expansion board can get it's power from the ribbon but if you have two, you'll need to switch the jumper and provide external power.

To avoid drawing more power than a ribbon cable can supply, I'd power both if I had two differential expansion boards. (I don't have two, but I still would :)  )
