FTP recommendation
« on: October 15, 2018, 03:57:07 PM »
Hey All....

I need a recommendation for an FTP client software....  In the past, on my old computer, I used Filezilla but with the new computer I haven't need to FTP anything so when I went to download Filezilla it set off my Malwarebytes telling me that it has FusionCore adware embedded in the setup...

Can anyone recommend a decent FTP program (free type) that is free of malware and is relatively easy to use...?  Thanks.

I've been happy with WinSCP

I like their screen layout better than others.

You are right to be a bit leery of Filezilla. I have had issues with malware in the installer as well. I haven't seen WebDrive mentioned here so I wanted to add that. It's a good ftp client that I have been using for a long time. Supports tons of connectors--not free, but worth the $39 in my opinion.
