Thanks folks!  My amazon order is running late still.  By about a week now.  I won't order another one just yet.  Waiting to see what happens.

I've attached some screenshots of the i2c address as it changes when enabling the i2c-ao overlay and merging it with the overlay. You have to merge the overlay to make it permanent after reboot. I've also attached the SSD1306_OLED.h file showing where the oled should be.  Could this be the problem? If so any ideas how to make this work?

Quote from: dkulp on March 24, 2023, 09:53:06 AMCan you go to the Cape info page and the EEPROM Upgrade tab and update to the latest firmware for the K8-Pi?  I think you may have the original firmware which tried to use the eFuse stuff to work around issues in the DPI code.  That is all now fixed so it's not necessary.
Thanks. That seems to make it work. It did originally say ver 1.0 and the upgrade was still 1.0, but after the upgrade the above branch worked and moved it back to head and still working. Thanks again.

Quote from: cybercop23 on March 24, 2023, 08:51:49 AMUsing Pi-4 on Master and all was okay until last night when I upgraded Master. Now FPPD keeps on crashing. I detached to an earlier commit (not sure if it was the one that I was using) and still have the same issue. Based on fppd log... last successful load was on FPP 7.x-master-24-g5a1aedf6; will try to go back to that.

Crash reports are configured to be sent.

Yup... this version works... lots of commits after.. will try to ID which one breaks
FPP Version:7.x-master-24-g5a1aedf6

@dkulp looks like 44272e26 that deals with e-fuses

Thanks again! I tried a 2.5GB file, and it was uploaded with no problem.
(I am continuing to test with larger files, and will update with my findings)
