f16v4 expansion

I have an f16v4 with an expansion board.  I also have a srx4 quad receiver coming out of rcv1 jack running it as a local - dial set at "0".  It has 16 ports.  In the xlights set-up do I have the controller set-up at 16+16+16 local?  Or do I need to use 16+16+4 smart receivers?

16 + 16 +2 smart should be correct.  16+16+16 local  would be if you had two local expansion boards.

Dial set to 0 does not seem correct.  I thought that was for dumb mode. You would want to use letter A, B or C which would set the first one then the others wound be +1,+2,+3 from there.
