F16v3 dmx and differential data noise

I had a fully working system including a dmx output and 1 differential expansion board.

We had a lot of rain and now snow...... 

My dmx port stopped working, I think it was a wet adapter. I rewired it and now I'm getting noise on the dmx line. I see the levels in a dmx tester and I see extra blinky full levels. 

Now I also see some blinking white levels "full" on a single port of a differential output as well.

Is it a bad output on the f16v3? Or just some bad ethernet cables? 

Are the ethernet wires of the differential ports each a serial output? Do the remote pixel port data travel on different pairs of the ethernet? 

I appreciate any help.

There are four pairs of serial data on the DMX11/Receiver port on the F16V3. Each pair drives one output of the differential receiver.

I kind of figured that was the case.

 I am pretty familiar with DMX and Serial protocols, so i guess I will just work around the ports until the end of the season and everything thaws out.

There is always next year!
