Wondering if there is any thoughts or plans on including a voltage meter showing the voltage coming into the F8 Distro board?

Those are actually cheap enough now you can always add one.  Or are you looking for some web based type of metering?

I added some cheap voltage meters to each of my power supplies so I can see at a glance.  But I have to be physically at each controller to view that though.

No, I was just thinking if it was on the board, one less part to obtain and build.  Remote monitoring would be nice but I am sure that is probably going to drive the cost up really high.

Yeah I hear that.  Even with the small cost of the volt meters I found it's just more added expense and one more thing to fit in somewhere.  I would love for this to be built in. :)

I don't understand the desire to monitor voltage on a distro board or power supply.   It might look cool, but it doesn't change much (if at all) so what is the need to dynamically display something that isn't changing?

If we were talking about amps (current) that is a different story, since that would be much more meaningful data to monitor

I don't understand the use of all these built in voltage and amp meters.  How often does anyone look at them?  Seems more like a cool thing than a useful thing.

Same I was actually wandering how often people are actually looking at them.  I put one on one my F16s 3 years ago.  I've looked at it twice in its lifetime.  It sits in a closed box a lot of times that's burred by snow.  :)
