I'm new to the whole xlights and pixels things so please excuse me if this has already been asked...
I'm trying to make a simple sequence for my matrix saying something like happy holidays from the Lucas family!
Since this is such a short sequence, how can i get xlights to render for only the length of what the text is (with the scrolling) and not the whole 30 seconds, which is what the timing for a sequence defaults to)? Do i need to manually change the time for the sequence or am i missing something?
Thank you!

JonD

I don't know of an auto end setting, but if you figure out what time you want the sequence to end.  Adjust the sequence settings, sequence duration.

That's kinda what I figured.  I was hoping there was an automatic way of how you called it "auto end", but, if there isn't,  I'll have to do it that way.
Thanks!

As a side note, if you do a message with a music background, the time is based on the length of your Audio or Video file. To "shorten" the sequence, you edit the Audio or Video file.
