Is a plugin approach suitable for GPU/framebuffer IO?

I am very interested in how you got the DPI code to work.  I have been using a Raspberry Pi pico as a stand-alone LED driver for a small "Megs-tree".  It uses the 8 parallel PIO processors on the pico to drive eight WS2812B strings of 300 LEDs each.  In this video, it is driving the tree at about an 80 Hz rate.
