Sorry, I've modify this message and the tool no longer exists, but I will be putting out information on how to receive the lyric tracks easier soon by putting them in the xlights google drive.

I don't see anything wrong with the post, but do wonder if this would be better off put into the xLights shared drive that is already out there.

So not trying to down play your work but not really seeing how this helps much.  You are giving them away already so why not just put them on the xlights shared drive already, then people don't have to fill out a form to get or share back.

There is a facebook group that does this yearly. New members get access to the library once they submit a lyric track that goes through some quality control testing. Once yours passes you get access to the library.

That's the spirit.... Imagine if you had to submit code or patches to FPP or xLights and have them approved in order to be able to download new versions of these programs.

I just had to put in my $0.02 on this one because it really irks me.

This is just my opinion/suggestion/viewpoint.  Others with other viewpoints/experiences may have different advice.  I am a hobbyist with a couple years real world experience, not an expert.

So I now realize I should of done that, I just didn't realize all these other places exist to share lyric tracks. I will now move everything to the xlights drive once I get the time. Thanks everyone for your tips and sorry I tried to "recreate" some of these tools, I just didn't know they existed.
