EDM RDS and Version 8.1

Hey All,

I just reinstalled version 8.1 and when I went to add my EDM RDS plugin I couldn't find the plugin listed any longer.  I tried to use a plugin .json file from version 8.  While it said it worked when I check the plugin is not there/available/present.

Anyone know why the EDM plugin is no longer in the plugin list?

Yes, that's where I found it on version 8.0.  But in version 8.1 the category "Plugins not tested with this FPP version" does not show up on my FPP.  All I see is 'plugins available'....  It seems to ignore or not list not tested  plugins....

Just went back and did a fresh re-install of version 8.0 and now the "Not Tested" list doesn't come up in version 8.0 either.  Not sure if this just an oversight or intentional to only show "Tested" plugins....  EDM RDS worked fine for me in version 8.0 so it could have been moved into the "Tested" list....

Interesting....but as I mentioned it was there in 8.0 and it worked.  Once 8.1 was released ALL the "Not Tested" plug-ins are missing in action both in 8.0 and 8.1 installs.....  I'm thinking the "Not Tested" list has been removed since 8.1 came on the scene for some reason.

I think you can change your Ui mode from basic to advanced to get the not tested list.

Thanks Darylc....That's the 'trick'.  Dan clued me in too....  Had to change UI from basic to advanced.  It never occurred to me to even look there since I'd never had to do that in the past that I can recall....learn something new every day in this hobby.
