Master branch FPP update failing. Over and Over and Over...

That's what I was trying to find out.  OK, it is there on the FPP page if you either really hunt for it, or know where it is.

This is the bookmark that I have when I am looking for releases.  Just scroll down to see what you want.

Thanks for the link.  I will bookmark that.  And good tip on the word assets.  I did find that eventually and there were no assets listed - unlike the screen capture that Poporacer posted.  It was not obvious that you needed to click on that - it does not show as a link until you hover over it..

I have been using fpp since 2017 (I think) so a lot of upgrades.  Every year after Christmas is shut down I switch to the Master branch and as far as I can remember, have never done an fppos - nor had any instructions to do so for that switch.  Because my matrix panels are hanging available for testing all off-season, they get updated regularly within the Master Branch, and stuff gets tested.  In a few cases specific tests from either the LOR or fpp developers - I am one of the very few fpp matrix users driving panels from LOR that is available for testing during the off-season, and I'm happy to test stuff.  And sometimes stuff I want to test.  Sometime in October or November, I switch to whatever the production release is for that year - normally via a new image burn in the early days or an fppos in the past few years.

Normally the only time I touch GitHub is a specific link for a new production version.

Yeah, there is really no way to indicate that, sorry for the confusion. That is why it is covered in the Manual.

Because of a planned rebuild / reconfiguration of my matrix panels this year, I will be loading fpp onto two brand new RasPis sometime in the next week or two (I really need to get moving on that project - parts arrived a week or so ago).  Of course those will be new µSD card image and I now know where to get the latest as they will almost certainly start off in Master Branch. 

Now I just need to have Dan have time to update one of the plugins that we talked about a couple weeks ago...  Please...

ArtNet advanced Features
Currently the only way to select what sequence to play is by the Hour.  That limits you to 23 sequences.  He and I discussed it a week or two ago and he has an easy fix and a much harder fix.  The easy fix would solve the problem.  He will have to see if he has time.

And with a smile, Dan has updated the ArtNet plugin and the hooks for that in the Master branch.  I did go back to Master Branch and this time I did the fppos to get there and then updated...  Working well.
